Mothers Day Special!!

Hello Everyone! I'm pleased to be presenting a special offer just in time for mothers day. It includes a free session of your choice and two free desk prints up to size 8x10. This will be good from now until the end of May. Its also exciting that I will be able to offer sessions in two locations. For the next two weeks I will be in Nashville, TN and the surrounding areas and will be taking a limited number of sessions so be sure to touch base with me ASAP. The rest of the special will be conducted at home sweet home Ft. Stewart/Hinesville, GA. I'm eager to capture more memories during this special time of year!

I wanted to share a few of my favorite mommy and me shots from my past sessions. They are not all technically perfect but I love the feeling I get just from looking at them. I hope you enjoy them too.

PCS --Photographers Child Syndrome

I know I've probably mentioned this before but taking pictures of your own kids is the toughest assignment a photographer can have. They either run in the opposite direction or make silly over exaggerated poses. I've been on a mission to get a canvas worthy shot of all of my little ones together but that may not happen any time soon. :) I really wanted to share a snap of my youngest because his expression here just says it all. I was trying desperately to get him to look at me and this was the result.

I can't help but smile when I see it, I hope you like it too.

A New Little Man

I finally had a new little one to play with this week and it was so much fun! He was a perfect gentleman the entire time and only peed on my blanket once. :) Big sister is absolutely gorgeous too and so proud. Thanks so much guys! I hope you like your peek.

Another farewell...

At least for the week. We leave tommorrow morning early for GA. I hope it won't take as long to get the computer up and running this time. I wanted to share some pictures I've taken while in Nashville visiting. I try not to go overboard with personal snaps but I couldn't help myself this time. My babies are soooooo cute! :) I'll be back to update on our new home soon. All this transition will soon be worth it. Thanks.

This maternity session was also shot on sunday. They are expecting a little boy and couldn't be more excited. You guys are such a wonderful couple, thank you for letting me share in your joy! I wish you all the best in the future with your little man.

Its been an interesting few days for me. Though not in a good way. After nearly a year of being illness free little man has been running a fever of 102 off and on for the last three days. I think we are over the hump but it has put me a bit behind schedule on a couple sessions from Sunday.

I had the pleasure to visit with this lovely family again. They are truly so much fun to photograph and I'm glad we were able to make this session happen during my visit. Sorry this has taken so long guys. I hope you enjoy your sneak peek! And don't worry, I'm putting the finishing touches on the entire set and it will be along very soon. :)

As promised I'm back with the sneak peak from another beautiful family I had the pleasure of meeting a couple of days ago. Today was a buisy one for me. I had two sessions in one day and by the time I got home I was exhausted, but in a good way. The first ones I have to share are of four buisy kiddos. I always enjoy watching other moms with lots of little ones. Its a small window into how I must look chasing after my crew. :) They were all so well behaved and absolutely gorgeous! They even loved to pose, except for the group shots, lol. I'm so glad I got a chance to photograph you guys before we leave A. Your family is beautiful and I really appreciate your friendship.

Valentine Surprise...

I had another visit with two beautiful little girls and they are still as sweet as can be. This time we were trying to capture some special valentine pictures for daddy, who is currently deployed overseas. G always loves posing for the camera and this time was no exception. They are so beautiful! Thanks again C for allowing me to share time with your family! I always have so much fun. :)

Today I had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful family. I think I hit a record speed with this session. The temperature wasn't cooperating with us and it barely reached 40 degrees. Add in the Oklahoma wind and it was down right cold. Little man was such a trooper, he just wanted to run and play and throw 'balls' at me. :) He is such a cutie! I really think we managed to capture some very sweet moments even in such a little time. I hope you enjoy your teaser.

Two Little Ladies...

I have another sneak peek that includes adorable little girls! I had a great time playing around with them and talking with mom. Its so much fun getting to know families and making new friends. They are so gorgeous that they made my job easy. Thanks so much C for welcoming me in your home.

Today I had the pleasure of photographing an amazing little girl. This little one has tons of personality already and you can tell she is going places. She was so cooperative and polite the entire session and only peed miss Erins blanket once. :) Thank you guys so much, I had a great time and you have a wonderful family. This week held yet another momentous occasion. It was my little ones first birthday. Oh, how the time flies! He is a joy, beautiful, sweet as can be and just alittle bit stubborn, just like his mommy. I can't wait to see what next year holds. Exploring

Well...we finally made it! We're here in OK and at least a little settled. It feels strange to be somewhere for only a few months, like the moment I get everything out we will have to pack up again. Maybe thats a good excuse for the boxes in the garage. :) Today we went out to explore downtown Lawton. Definitely not the easiest thing with four kids in tow but they were troopers and it made for some very cute shots. Jocelyn turned five on the third of November so this was also 1/3 of her birthday session. I can't believe how big she is getting. Such a little lady!

This is the first time I've really shot urban and I really enjoyed it. I'll definitely do some more soon. Enjoy!

Family and Friends

As I'm sure most of you know I'm heading to OK in a day or so. We don't know where we will be going after that but I'll keep in touch. I appreciate working with all of you and I'm excited at the prospect of doing so in the future. As many of you have requested I will be sure to let you know in advance of visiting so we can plan future sessions. I can't post a blog entry without showing off some pictures so here are some featuring some good friends of ours who came over for a mini christmas session this week. I got to try out my new coco backdrop. I LOVE it!

Fall has arrived...

Today's session was a lot of fun. I got to meet up with some wonderful sisters to capture pictures of their babies together to send home to family. The theme was fall fun and came complete with pumpkins and dried up leaves. The only problem was that there was a large number of mosquitoes out today. They were coming out in droves to eat me. I'm used to it though, I must be extra sweet! :)

We had a grand time strolling by the pond and helping M search for turtles. So much personality for a little boy. Wow...what a blast! I had so much fun today during a session with a good friend of mine from highschool. We won't go into exactly how long ago that was. ;) J and W were so much fun and an amazing couple. They kept me laughing the whole time. I've been so buisy these last few weeks with travel and other things that have seemed to demand my attention. But now things are trying to calm down and I wanted to introduce my favorite models, my kiddos. They have clearly developed PCS (photographers child syndrome) and usually either run from the camera or give very awkward overly enthusiastic poses. :) Here are just a few I've taken over the last week. Yesterday I had a session that was a special treat. Not just one beautiful mama to be, but two. They were glowing and so much fun to photograph. This one was very tough to choose just a couple sneak peek pictures because theres so much to choose from. :) Its such a special time to be pregnant with your sister, you guys are going to have a blast! Well here I am, joining the masses on the wonderful world wide web. I figured I'd take this opportunity to tell you all a bit about me. I'm a loving wife, buisy mom of four, and a passionate photographer with a uncontrollable shutter finger. Thats it in a nutshell. I began my love affair with the camera at a young age, but when I had children I found myself always with it in my hand, intent on capturing every expression, every emotion, every moment of their lives. I don't want to forget a thing. That love has transfered over to an insationable quest to learn and perfect the art. Skip ahead many years and here I am on the verge of making my dreams a reality. I'm in the process of building a portfolio for the beginning of my own buisness. Not many people can say with honesty that they LOVE what they do. I feel like I'm one of the lucky ones. Every session is an adventure, trying to capture that spark in a little ones eye, the love shared within a family, the anticipation of a new arrival. Its truly exciting, this whole journey, and I'm so happy to be able to share it with you.
